General Information

On this page you as an organizer can find necessary information about the start system to be able to use it during your next tournament.

General information for organizers
The purpose of the remote start system is to make matches more fair by eliminating false starts. This will also be time saving since there will be less restarts.

The remote start system is a complete none profit development. It has been developed by people at Chalmers Robotic Society with close feedback from RobotChallenge.org and BalticRobotSumo.org. It is an open source and hardware project.
The projected is maintained via Github.

The aim during the development have been to build a system that is

  • As cheap possible.
  • Simple to use.
  • Being robust in terms of working on all types of robots and not being disturbed by poor supply voltage.
  • Possible to run several matches next to each other.

If you are interested in using this system you are free to download schematics and source code from Github and produce the parts. We will however make group orders to be able to lower the unit price by getting larger quantities. If you are interested or have questions feel free to contact us.

  1. Hello blogger, i found this post on 13 spot in google’s search results.
I’m sure that your low rankings are caused by hi bounce rate.
This is very important ranking factor. One of the biggest reason for high
bounce rate is due to visitors hitting the back button. The higher your bounce rate the further down the
search results your posts and pages will end up, so having reasonably low bounce rate is important for increasing
your rankings naturally. There is very useful wordpress plugin which
can help you. Just search in google for:
    Seyiny’s Bounce Plugin
